Ancho is transferring to Cairn Housing Association

Following a successful tenant ballot in which 92% of tenants voted in favour of the transfer, we are delighted to confirm Ancho will officially transfer to Cairn Housing Association on 1st April 2025. 

From the 1st of April 2025 Cairn Housing Association will become the landlord of all Ancho properties.  

What Does This Change For Me?

This change brings long-term benefits for tenants, including:   
✅ No change to your tenancy agreement 
✅ Services from the same local office   
✅ More investment in homes and communities 

As a tenant, your existing tenancy agreement, rights, and rent arrangements will remain unchanged and services will continue to be delivered by the team in Irvine. You can continue to contact us on the same telephone number and email address. However, its recommended to begin using 0800 990 3405 or email [email protected] as the Ancho number and email will be discontinued soon.   

To mark the occasion of Ancho joining Cairn, we would like to invite all tenants to a ribbon cutting ceremony 1:30pm on Thursday 3rd of April 2025, in what will be the Cairn office in Sovereign House Irvine, afterword there will be a chance to chat with the team about any aspect of your tenancy or our plans moving forward.
