ANCHO’s tenth anniversary Annual General Meeting will be held on Wednesday 25 August 2010, in the Harbour Arts Centre (HAC), Irvine, starting at 7.00pm. The meeting will be preceded by an exhibition of artwork produced by our Community Link Project Kidz Clubz. Doors open at 6.45 pm. Following the AGM, those attending will also enjoy a performance from some of our Kidz Clubz members.

The exhibition and the AGM are open to all Members of ANCHO and other members of the public, including tenants of ANCHO, are also welcome to attend. It offers an opportunity to find our more about the work that ANCHO does and to influence the future direction and activities of the Association.

The main purpose of the AGM is to receive Jackie Browne, the Management Board Chair’s Report, the Annual Accounts and to elect Board Members to fill the available vacancies on the Management Board of ANCHO. Ms Browne will also be outlining the organisation’s plans for celebrating its 10th anniversary year. There will be, as always, an opportunity for members/tenants to ask questions of the current ANCHO Management Board and Officers.

Sam Walker, Secretary, said, ‘We hope as many people as possible come and join us at the Harbour Arts Centre for a glass of wine at 6.15pm before the meeting whilst viewing the exhibition, stay for the AGM and then enjoy a cup of tea or coffee after the meeting with the opportunity to chat to our Board and staff members.’
